Sliding Welding Curtains Made to Measure

Track-mounted welding curtains for adjustable bays. Sliding welding curtains are ideal when you need a welding screen that can open and close quickly around a bay, bench or fabrication area. The track-mounted design lets operators pull the welding curtain into position during hot work and move it aside when the area is not in use.

Our sliding welding curtains are available in two different types...


Strip curtains


Our strip curtains are made from individual 300mm wide x 2mm thick PVC strips and are designed for easy pedestrian access whether the curtain is open or closed. Our strip curtains can be installed with a left-to-right opening, right-to-left or centre parted. You decide which when you install it. Strip curtains are the heaviest and hardest wearing type of curtain we manufacture and are very good, all round industrial welding curtains.

Sheet curtains


As the name suggests, rather than being made from individual strips, our sheet curtains are made from large sheets of welding grade PVC and function in a similar way to a shower curtain. The sheet will come in two pieces which cover the width of the curtain with a velcro join down the middle. This means they can open from the side as a single sheet, but they can also open in the middle and the two sections can slide to the left and right.


The sliding system used for both types of curtains is an industry standard 30mm x 30mm x 1.2mm thick galvanized steel lipped C section sliding track which is connected to the curtain material using high performance rollers.

Tip: If the curtain track is to be mounted on the wall above the door, then you need to add approximately 200mm onto the width to allow an overlap around the edge of the doorway.?

Colour Welding screen colour All of our welding curtains and screens are available in RED or GREEN material. They are both EN ISO 25980 compliant and there is no difference in quality or durability. Your choice is purely based on which colour you prefer.?
